BARNARDOS

Barnardos is Ireland’s largest children’s charity which supports the most vulnerable children in society to achieve their full potential. Barnardos provides a range of targeted, practical and emotional support services through 56 centres nationwide. Our work supports children and families affected by childhood trauma such as poverty; domestic violence or abuse; children whose parents suffer from mental health issues or addiction; separation and bereavement. We work with children, families, schools and communities to build resilience; strengthen parenting skills; and develop social and emotional skills to support learning.

Last year, Barnardos supported over 26,000 children and families nationwide – and demand continues to grow. Barnardos work with children not just at their lowest point, but throughout their childhood.

Funds raised through the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle will be supporting vulnerable children and providing critical services and programmes to families in the heart of communities in the Munster Region, fostering a stronger, more resilient local environment.

With your help we can change these children’s story.

Because Childhood Lasts a Lifetime.
