The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle is a non-profit organisation of everyday people who come together every year to make a powerful difference to the lives of thousands of people in need across our local communities. This year’s cycle is on Saturday July 4th.

Breakthrough Cancer Research is an Irish medical research charity focused on raising vital funds for cancer supports and services. Based in Cork, they facilitate excellence in research with the aim of discovering and developing new effective treatments and cures for patients in Ireland, Europe and Internationally.

  • We are delighted to be partnering with six worthy charities for our Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2020. Ard Chúram is one of our main beneficiaries.

Ard Chúram aims to provide a friendly day care service to the elderly in North Kerry and encourage them to live independent lives in their own homes for as long as possible. it operates from Monday to Saturday in a purpose-built centre in Greenville, Listowel. Their next project is a dedicated Alzheimer’s Centre.

Cúnamh Iveragh is a group of parents, families and friends of people with intellectual disabilities of all ages living in the South Kerry area. Cúnamh supports these intellectually disabled people in whatever way possible to improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their families. Their goal is to provide a Home Away From Home.

  • We are delighted to be partnering with six worthy charities for our Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2020. Saint Francis Special School is one of our main beneficiaries.

St Francis Special School provides educational programmes in Beaufort for students with moderate/severe/profound general disabilities. With the funds from the 2020 Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle, St. Francis Special School is hoping to fund the purchase of a 16-seater fully wheelchair adaptable minibus for their school.

Banna Rescue is a voluntary inshore and land rescue unit covering one of the busiest and best beaches in the country. Since its beginnings, Banna Rescue has had over 220 callouts and carried over 60 people to safety.
